Wonderful Stay with Excellent Amenities

I enjoyed exploring the area using the hotel bikes for two days. I also visited the Castle Ashby gardens, a lovely complimentary activity. The hotel's luxurious rooms and overall upkeep impressed me.

The grass looked uncut, and the area seemed a bit untidy. I ordered drinks, and there were no draft beers, only bottles. A service charge was applied, even though I got my own drinks at the bar, which I found very poor practice

I found a cafe and deli within a short walk from the hotel. It opens at 10 AM and features a great selection for vegan and vegetarian guests, with many super friendly and accommodating staff members.

The wifi was secure and provided super-fast internet. This made emailing for work very easy. Underfloor heating in the bathroom kept me cozy.

Afternoon tea disappointed. service seemed understaffed, especially at this price point. the sandwiches seemed pre-made. The cucumber was cut so thinly it was almost invisible. when we asked for more clotted cream they told us they had a cream shortage, quite comical, actually
