thin blindssingle glazed windows

the absence of a hairdryer in the room bothered me. i learned at checkout i could have requested one, but i did not wanted to go downstairs wrapped in a towel with wet hair. also, the thin blinds were not adequate. street lights glowed in my eyes all night, and i could hear every noise from outside because of single glazed windows.

the twin room was super clean and spacious. breakfast included tasty, hot coffee, i appreciated that. the staff were helpful and very friendly, it was great.

the hotel looks a little tatty from the outside.

i noticed some noise from outside due to single glazing in the bedroom. this affected my sleep a bit.

a really nice stay

i've stayed at many hotels, but this one stood out. the room was very clean and inviting (i was very happy). the staff were so polite and helpful, always ready to assist with anything i needed. the food downstairs was great too.

the car park wasn't on-site, but there was sufficient parking a short walk away. it wasn't a big deal for me.

the staff provided excellent assistance and showed a friendly attitude during my time there. they were quick to respond to requests and demonstrated good knowledge of the surrounding area, assisting with directions. i felt really welcome.

i felt a warm homecoming upon arrival. the room in an annexed building felt virtually brand new. it was comfortable and lovely with warmth.

a minor point, the bathroom was a little small, but this barely detracted from the overall experience.

the menu included home cooked food that would make any mama proud. generous portion sizes and good quality ingredients were apparent. the breakfast was tasty, well cooked and hot. coffee tasted very good.
