The bed was very firm. I needed extra blankets. service in the pub felt slow. It took fifty minutes between courses and the food was mediocre.

idyllic setting lovely food huge breakfast free beverage

the setting was idyllic, overlooking the boats on the river. the food was lovely and plentiful. the cooked breakfast was huge. unlimited free coffee, tea, and orange juice accompanied breakfast each morning.

the car park was full. a private event created loud music and noise until late.

inconsistent service marred stay

excessive delay faulty extractor fan

the location overlooking the river proved acceptable.

the delay in receiving food orders was excessive, one evening requiring a 50-minute wait. furthermore, i reported a faulty extractor fan in the bathroom. the daily cleaner claimed she had not noticed this issue, i suspect the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned.
