Wonderful stay at the seaside hotel!

lovely viewsgreat placeunfriendly barmaid
The hotel location is excellent! The views of the marshes from my room were really lovely. The rooftop terrace was great. The views were gorgeous.
The barmaid was not cute. She provided no smile or interaction at all. She didn't even thank me after I paid for drinks. This happened on both occasions I visited the bar. It was not busy!
Service
9/10
The staff displayed high standards of service! All members were polite, professional, and helpful. A staff member quickly moved me to a bigger room after I complained about the first one assigned to me.

Underwhelming Stay due to Bed and Bar Service

sea frontunfriendly barmaidlumpy mattress
The hotel location faces the sea front and presents amazing views.
The barmaid was so unfriendly and did not smile. I did not receive any thank you after payment. The bed was terrible. It was one of the worst I have ever slept on. The mattress had lumps and bumps. I had to take paracetamol.

during my stay, the room became quite warm, and while a fan was provided, it unfortunately didn't work, made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

The breakfast was very good. the evening meal offered very good value and i could not fault it. the location was lovely. I admired that it was spotlessly clean.
i noticed a significant amount of bird droppings on the outside bathroom windowsill. there was also a lesser amount on the bedroom windowsill. i had to open the windows for fresh air as the room was very hot. i found that parking was hit and miss for hotel guests since pub customers also shared the car park.

The staff were very cute. Domestic service was also very efficient. I enjoyed the room facilities. The bed was comfy.
The car park became busy after 7pm. It was hard to find a parking space then. Breakfast did include parts I found inedible. The bacon was very hard.
