It is on the B6001, just outside Hathersage. Castleton, with Blue John Mines, is a ten minutes drive along Hope Valley. The plague village of Eyam and the market town of Bakewell are nearby. Manchester is 50 km away. Landmarks near the inn include Hathersage Swimming Pool (1 km), Higger Tor (2.5 km), and St Peter's Church (2.5 km).
