the staff were friendly. the bar was nice, decorated for christmas.

The tv in my room did not work. the screen showed no connection, it was annoying. the bath was very deep. I could not safely climb into the bath to shower.

I had to collect the key from the bar with no staff available initially, and no details were taken at check-in. The heating was inadequate, only coming on near morning. the wifi only worked intermittently.

The staff were very friendly from check in, the bar, the restaurant, and also the cleaning lady! the room was a great size. It felt more than a simple hotel room. It was lovely to have a sofa. the four-poster bed was comfy!!!

the restaurant provided a very good meal , which was acceptable.

i had problems with the bed as it creaked a lot when i moved , which was annoying. the curtains did not fully close , letting light in. there was also a lot of dust throughout the room , , made me uncomfortable.

we got a super warm welcome at this place. the bar area has a nice vibe, and the hotel is lovely i think. the bedroom was big and well equipped witth glass bottles for water and lots of tea and coffee too. staff were really friendly and helpful and aye i the restaurant which was really lovely too.

when we came in about 9.20pm, it was really noisy that night. i wanted to go to bed early because i wasnt feeling to good, but all this noise, loud shouting, and banging doors kept me awake i couldn't sleep. this noise ruined my time at the hotel i think.
