“The Royal Oak Hotel benefits from a prime seafront location, placing guests conveniently opposite Ramsgate harbour, near various restaurants, bars and shops; some rooms, however, are on the third floor and there is no lift. While the staff may not always be available to assist with luggage, the clean rooms and excellent showers, some even with a bath, make it a reasonable choice. In my opinion, this hotel offers basic but well-located accommodation.”
