the room was very spacious and clean (i really liked the layout). the hotel had great food in the restaurant and live music played on saturday night. the staff were very cute and helpful, especially with the kids. breakfast had a varied choice with continental options, and the full irish breakfast was delicious.

i thought the coffee was just ok and the wine choices were a bit limited.

The food was good, and the service was excellent. the staff were all very friendly! the pool was a highlight. It was lovely and warm.

Check-in was not until 4pm. This was late. the room was stuffy. it was also 2 single beds pushed together. I expected a double bed. pillows were uncomfortable and the bed wasn't great!

The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast selection was quite varied with both continental and hot options. I found the staff to be helpful with directions.

The pool area seemed a bit dated. The sauna was not working . I could smell cooking odors sometimes (mostly fries) in the lobby.

poor wineloud heating

I was annoyed by the poor wine choice and mediocre food! the heating in the bedroom lacked control, so I woke up to loud noises as it surged at 3:00 AM. It is pointless to heat bedrooms at night. After calling reception a couple of times with no response, I had to call externally from my mobile for a kindly night watchman to adjust the hotel control panel. It was frustrating.

i got a super warm welcome from the receptionist she really took her time explaining everything to me. she was also interacting so nicely with my daughter and special needs son i appreciated that. the bar and leisure centre staff were also more than helpful and friendly. this place has something special!

the wine selection was not good and the coffee was also bad. food choices could be better too. i had no way to control the heating in the bedroom and was woken up with a loud noise of the heating at 3:00 am.

The staff was very kind and helpful. the warm pool was lovely! the beauty and wellness rooms were fantastic. I will definitely be back. the bar staff was very accommodating too.

The rooms looked very tired. i could see the paint outline of an old headboard. the bathroom had mdf panel that was swollen from water damage and yellowed flaking paint. there was only one accessible plug socket for the kettle and hairdryer. It was in the corner by the window.
