The menu felt quite limited (I was expecting more options). Some items listed were unavailable. the noise from the creaky floors upstairs was noticeable. It sometimes disrupted the quiet I was hoping for , i found it slightly annoying.

the steak pie i ordered during my first evening meal was disappointing. it was advertised as an award-winning dish, but it contained no meat (i mean none). when i complained, the staff apologized and mentioned these pies are usually full. i was also told the hotel was fully booked, but i only saw two other parties dining (it felt strange).
