A balanced stay with minor drawbacks.

generous food ample parking friendly staff faulty tv poor atmosphere unpleasant smell

i found the food portions very generous. i also appreciated that the staff were friendly. ample parking was available, a definite plus.

the room's towels, bedding, and dressing gowns had a smell of dirty kitchen tea towels. the tv was not working in the bath. there was a noticeable lack of atmosphere and music in the restaurant area.

private patio wood fire luxurious bath wonderful massage

I really enjoyed the sauna and steam room. They were a great way to unwind. the deep bath was also a luxurious treat, i could have spent all day in it. sitting on our private patio under the stars was lovely, the wood fire and smores added to the experience. my massage from mimi was wonderful. I really appreciate her care.

the outdoor chairs needed covers since they were soaked from rain, preventing us from using them fully though the fire pit was nice.

Really good Spa Suite Experience

relaxing sauna private steam room outdoor firepit

We booked the spa suite. It featured both a sauna and a steam room I found very relaxing. The outdoor chill area includes a fire pit for evening enjoyment. I had a one-hour massage. The relaxation room had water beds and drinks.

During my visit there was a slight issue with a small power cut but it was resolved quickly.

the king size bed was definitely a plus.

Power cuts disrupted my stay. It made relaxation difficult. the food lacked flavour and seemed overly processed. dinner and breakfast weren't worth the cost, a big disappointment.

Really good Service and Excellent Facilities

super clean room efficient staff generous portions large towels

The room was spotlessly clean. The steam room and sauna heated quickly. Divine toiletries and large towels were provided. The heating system was easy to operate, keeping the room warm. Meals were really good with generous portions. Staff members were attentive and efficient.

The hot tub area showed some signs of wear. The hot tub cover was ripped in several places.
