dusty furniture missing elevator

The 'unique' decor felt more like a cluttered antique shop than a cozy hotel. I noticed quite a bit of dust on the furniture, which wasn't ideal. Plus, the lack of an elevator made hauling luggage up the stairs a real workout. I'm still feeling it.

noisy wooden floors entertainment options

the location was good, it was close to the university.

The room lacked a tv, so i felt there weren't enough entertainment options in the room. also, i found the wooden floors to be quite noisy. I could hear every footstep from the room above, and it made it difficult to relax. the noise from other guests walking around was really disturbing during the night.

Nice stay

great location attentive staff quick check-in immediate recommendation

The hotel's proximity to the botanical gardens and several restaurants suited me. I enjoyed the walkable distance to the city center for daytime activities. The staff readily arranged my tours (all sorted in advance!) and offered immediate recommendations. I also liked the quick check-in, after a cup of tea, I felt at home.

The car park behind the hotel felt a little unkempt, I think it could use some attention.

helpful staff engaging barman convenient location

The staff at the front desk were energetic and helpful. William at the bar was engaging! I enjoyed a lovely breakfast. The location is convenient to Queen's University area.
