the staff were fabulous and provided dog-friendly rooms with treats (i think my dog enjoyed that the most). the room had paraben-free toiletries and real coffee. the restaurant food was great, cooked well, and made with local ingredients (i love local!).

I found the staff attentive. The hotel provides complimentary extras like specialty coffee and local chocolates. The newly refurbished rooms feature great attention to detail. The comfortable bed ensured A GREAT night's sleep. The EV charger WORKED, convenient.

The pipe sounds from the bathroom were rather loud.

Every staff member provided attentive service from arrival. The team seemed genuinely dedicated to, ALWAYS being available to assist with any request and offering helpful advice. This commitment enhances the overall experience.

The restaurant's menu includes modern dishes with locally sourced ingredients. The presentation of each dish was wonderful. The venue made IT to one of our favorites. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

The hotel offers ideal access to Roman sites like Vindolanda. It also provides easy access to the Hadrian's Wall Path. Walkers and cyclists will appreciate the central location for exploring the Northumbrian countryside. THIS IS PERFECT.

Excellent Stay for Walkers

We arrived early and staff made us welcome. The rooms were large. There were very good facilities for walkers, including many drying facilities. The public rooms welcomed dogs, that I appreciated. The hotel food was high quality. I enjoyed unusual items on the menu.

The television was somewhat basic.

The hotel has public rooms where dogs are welcome, this is great. Drying facilities catered to walkers. Staff maintain them properly. The hotel also provided parking on site. That helped me a lot.
