The breakfast disappointed me. the crumpets tasted overcooked and tough. I suspect microwaving was involved. even the cappuccinos, nicely presented, lacked proper coffee machine flavor. the lasagne i ordered later proved quite average. the bathroom grout also had some sharp, unfinished spots which i found annoying.

Fantastic Stay Close to Abbey Gardens

Access to our room was very easy since it was on the ground floor with parking right outside. The room had attractive fittings and lots of wardrobe space. The bathroom even included hand wash, hand cream, and body wash (nice touch!). We enjoyed our meal and the service at the pub during our first night.

The hotel is convenient and near the Abbey, the Cathedral, and the cobbled shopping streets. Many restaurants and amenities are within short walking distance from this facility and near the Abbey Gardens, an excellent place for walks.

The food at the hotel was very good (especially during dinner). I enjoyed a good choice of items on the breakfast menu including a full English. I found all the staff that i encountered to be very friendly.

The room was spacious and well designed, with attractive fittings. There was also a desk, a chair, and a comfortable leather sofa. A dressing table with a mirror was separate, and plenty of space was available for cases.

Parking is available right next to the rooms. I found parking easy because of the allocated spot at the front of the room. The hotel also includes nice touches such as a heated floor within the bathroom.
