the hotel is near the train station and the city center. my room was quiet despite facing a busy street. the bed was comfortable and i slept well. breakfast included fresh, local ingredients and filled me up. they have a wide variety of beers, ciders and gins too.

The hotel location was very central for my needs. I enjoyed a tasty full English breakfast each morning. Staff were friendly and always available in the pub area. My room had a fan. It kept things cool during the nights.

I had some issues with street noise at night, which did affect my sleep.

The breakfast area is part of the pub, it provides an inclusive breakfast. The bar has a selection of beers, as well as other drinks and beverages. There is no lift. Guests must use the stairs.
