the advertised honesty bar downstairs was more like a suggestion than a reality it was hardly ever stocked plus finding ice was like locating the holy grail also the tv in the room seemed to have a personal vendetta against me never quite tuning properly i suspect it was a paid actor trying to ruin my evening

i found the dining room to be great and the lounge setting offered an honesty bar. the breakfast was freshly cooked. the hosts were superb and very informative regarding local attractions. the location was ideal for accessing trains and buses.

i noticed cobwebs in some areas and the garden could use some tidying.

The owners gave a warm welcome and assisted with luggage, also providing helpful information about local attractions. Breakfasts were good, with vegetarian sausage too. The hotel's vintage charm added a unique flair. I adored its cozy touches and character.

The bathroom grouting needs some attention. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The breakfast was well-prepared.

I found the lack of a downstairs bathroom inconvenient. Needing to go upstairs from the bar area was annoying. The bedroom also got quite warm. The lack of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable. I also noticed cobwebs around the room.

The breakfast included fresh fruit juices and a variety of cereals. My room was very clean with plenty of tea and coffee. The towels were lovely soft white.

There is no bathroom downstairs near the bar or lounge.
