a unique stay!

family vibe really good staff
i expected a good experience based on what i'd read, but this place was very good. the friendly, family-run vibe was evident. the food was good. the really good bar staff and reception staff were also wonderful.
my only minor issue was that the table wasn't perfectly clean when eating, as i felt a sticky surface. it's possibly just a problem with the table covering.

mixed feelings about the stay

saggy bed loud seagulls
The room felt a bit worn. the bed had a noticeable sag in the middle, not exactly supportive. seagulls on the roof were pretty loud during the night. It made it difficult to sleep well. i wasn't thrilled about that.

hot food good selection free car parking missing cups unwiped bathroom unreplenished shampoo
The breakfast offered a good selection of hot food. Free car parking was available just outside the hotel. Spaces were very limited though. A large free car park was located up the road.
The cups we had used were not replaced . The bathroom didn't appear to be wiped on one of the days. Shampoo hadn't been replenished either.
