The Terrace Hotel is set away from the main bustle, located on Royal Terrace, forms the longest continuous building of Georgian architecture in Edinburgh. The hotel is located in New Town, originally built in response to the deterioration of the medieval Old Town in the 18th century. Views from the front overlook a tree-lined street with a park, and upper floors have views over the River Forth and the Kingdom of Fife.
