Tankavaara Gold Village offers Kultaränni hotel rooms built in 2019, featuring 23 twin or double rooms, each including a toilet, rainfall shower, and free Wi-Fi. Sompiotalo Deluxe Apartment accommodates up to 5 people, with a kitchen, toilet, rainfall shower, TV, Chromecast, and free Wi-Fi. Korundi Apartments are available for 2 or 4 people, offering bathrooms, optional extra beds, and mini-kitchens. Shared bathrooms in service building.

Lappish Cuisine Restaurant

The Old Gold Prospector Restaurant serves Lappish cuisine using local ingredients. The lunch includes a salad buffet, a daily changing main course, waffles with ice cream, and coffee or tea. A la carte menu is available daily from 11:00 to 20:30. The restaurant features a bar/lounge. Open 8-22 from June, kitchen closes at 21:00. Kitchen closes 30 minutes earlier.

Activities and Winter Fun

Guests can participate in gold panning, snowshoeing, and reindeer interactions. Guided hikes to the national park and private dinners in a Kota-shelter are available. Winter activities include dog-sled, reindeer, and snowmobile safaris, and reindeer feeding. Snowshoes and sleighs are available for rent. Northern Lights are visible on most clear nights. Guests can rent a traditional Finnish sauna.

Tankavaara Gold Village is located on road E75, 30 km south of Saariselkä and 230 km north of Rovaniemi. Ivalo Airport is 60 km away. The Gold Prospector Museum is 0.3 km away, and Tankavaara is 2.5 km away. Guests can park in front of the restaurant.

Onsite Services

Tankavaara Gold Village includes a camping area for tents and caravan cars with electricity, toilets, showers, and a shared kitchen.
