Rooms and igloos

Wilderness Hotel Nangu & Igloos, located 35 km from Ivalo, offers Panorama Log Cabins with jacuzzis, Wilderness Rooms, and Aurora Log Cabins for couples. The glass huts are located beside Lake Inari, a few hundred meters from the main building, and include a double bed and a dry toilet. Shower, sauna, and toilet facilities are available 20 meters from the huts.

Lappish Cuisine

Guests can step into the cozy restaurant with traditional log walls and a menu inspired by Lappish cuisine. Aanaar's kitchen uses ingredients ranging from lichen and the Sami herbal plant Angelica, to reindeer and Lake Inari's fish. Lactose and gluten-free options are available upon request. Dinner is served as a 3-course meal.

Activities and relaxation

This adult-only destination suits couples, friends, businesses, groups, and events. Guests can walk in the dark forests with the moon and Northern Lights or take a relaxing walk to the top of Otsamo fell. Winter activities include snowmobiling, husky safaris, and snowshoe walks. Private sauna sessions can be reserved at reception for 10€ per 30 minutes. The hotel is beside Lake Inari, one of the best places to see the Northern Lights, which are most likely to be seen from the end of August to the beginning of April.

Location and access

Wilderness Hotel Nangu & Igloos is located five minutes from the Sámi village Inari, providing an ideal starting point to immerse in Sámi culture. The hotel is near the Siida Museum, Sajos (the Sámi parliament house), and the PaPaNa Bar. Reindeer farms are accessible by car. Ivalo Airport is 35 km away, with airport transfers available. Public buses connect to Inari from the train station in Rovaniemi.
