charming stay!

The staff showed true kindness. I found the room spacious and very clean. The beds offered great comfort, a welcome treat after a long day. The shower had wonderful pressure. It felt therapeutic after hiking in the lakes.

The road outside was VERY busy. The noise was a bit much at times, even late into the evening.

The location offers convenient access to nearby attractions. Ambleside and Windermere are easily accessible, and a path near the pub leads to Orrest Head. Car parking was also excellent.

The hotel features a cozy pub with a genuine English atmosphere downstairs. I liked this a lot. There's convenient parking next to the building. Made coming and going much easier. The building itself has some historic charm. It might be worth a look.

The owners knew my name. the chef even brought a treat for my dog. That was tender. the room was so lovely. It had everything i wanted.

I didn't like that the road was busy and noisy. there was no bin in the room or bathroom. A previous guest had used a drawer as a bin, and it was not cleaned.

The staff exhibited very nice hospitality . The room included a lovely bathroom. I found my room to be clean. The bed was the biggest and most comfortable I've had while traveling.

I noticed the bar had limited options for alcohol.

The large smart TV with Netflix and Prime provided entertainment. I found the super clean room very appealing and Northern soul music playing at breakfast was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. I slept soundly.

There was a very small patch on the carpet, I did notice some minor wear.
