i was very impressed with this hotel. the room was clean and the amenities inside it were great. robes and slippers were such a touch of luxury and the spa was lovely. i could have easily stayed longer if i was able to.

i stayed for two nights. the complimentary tea and coffee hadn't been replaced. the bin hadn't been emptied, and there was black mould around the sink. i found crawling live insects inside our bedroom light.

The breakfast was very good! staff communicated well and phoned before to ask about breakfast and dinner bookings. milk and water were available at the end of the hallway. A nice touch. the swimming pool and spa were very clean. a good pub with a garden is attached to the hotel.

The shower curtain was sticking to me while showering. This was not a nice feeling.

I REALLY loved the White Company toiletries in the room. I got a double room this time. The chilled water and milk stations on each floor prove VERY useful for late-night refreshments. Parking proved plentiful.

the bed proved less comfortable than expected. The mattress had a noticeable dip, causing some discomfort during the night. This affected my sleep quality.
