“Snowman Lodge and Spa strikes me as a practical choice in Ohakune, balancing affordability with access to both ski slopes and Tongariro National Park. The spa stands out; from what I gather, the massage treatments are a definite highlight. While some aspects, like cleanliness, appear inconsistent, the lodge's updated rooms and communal areas, plus its proximity to outdoor activities, make it a reasonable base for adventure.”
