the banana cafe restaurant featured really good food at a fair price. the pool area was relaxing, a bonus after jungle treks. the grounds were extensive and lush with ponds. they provided drinking water in the room as well as tea and coffee.

the place looked a little tired.

The hotel is near key attractions (I could walk to the orangutan and sun bear centers). The pool provided a great way to cool off after a day of exploring. I appreciated the food options at the Banana cafe. The meals were tasty. The breakfast buffet had many food options.

I found the location excellent, a short walk from the orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries. the setting felt immersive with wildlife surrounding the grounds, it. the pool offered a welcome cool down after hot days. It was very clean. the banana leaf restaurant provided delicious food. The fish curry stood out during my borneo stay.

The air conditioning in my room only operated at full blast, i couldn't adjust the temperature which was not ideal. at night i was too cold and i switched it off. The room then became too warm. a better standard room would have been a preferable choice for a future stay.

My beautiful room had comfortable beds, offering a good night's sleep. I appreciated the cleanliness. the bathroom was functional with a strong, consistent water pressure. This enhanced the showering experience. the provided amenities met my basic requirements.

The location provided immediate access to nature. I saw wildlife without leaving the resort grounds! the proximity to the orangutan and sun bear rehabilitation centers was convenient, i walked easily. the resort's large hotel created a sense of privacy.
