Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge has 62 chalet-style cottages with single, double, and triple options. The lodge offers 2 junior suites and 1 superior suite. Each room has a terrace. Ziwa Suite features an isolated location, a large private terrace, and a dining area. Chui and Faru Suites, named after the leopard and rhino, have 2 adjacent bedrooms, a fireplace, and a private terrace. Rooms provide beds with mosquito nets, hair dryers, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms include showers with hot and cold water and razor outlets with 220 and 240 Volts.
Dining Experiences
The Flamingo Restaurant accommodates 150 guests and features an interior section and a patio overlooking the pool and grounds. The restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner with live cooking counters that prepare dishes. Continental cuisine is offered. The salad buffet has ingredients and herbs from the Lodge's own vegetable and herb garden. Bush breakfasts are available at Baboon Cliff. Private hilltop sundowners provide views of the lake and park. Guests can pick their own vegetables from the Organic Garden for the chef to prepare. Special requests can be met at outdoor locations, with a honeymooners private dining spot available.
Leisure and Activities
Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge provides a heated swimming pool, sauna room, jogging track, and lawns for outdoor activities. Activities include swimming, water games, yoga, archery, bird watching and feeding, board games, and nature walks. Traditional dancers perform each evening at the Rift Valley Bar. Guests can visit the Organic Gardens, Makalia Falls, and Menengai Crater. Game drives are available in personal vehicles or with a guide from the lodge.
Location and Access
Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is located along 'Lion Hill' inside Lake Nakuru National Park, 160 km from Nairobi. This is a 2-3-hour drive on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway. The lodge is 25 kilometers inside Lake Nakuru National Park, accessible via the Lanet or Nderit gates. Nearby landmarks include Lanet Gate (4 km), Hyrax Hill Prehistoric Site (5.5 km), and Lake Nakuru (2.5 km). A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for access.

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge facilitates meetings, incentives, team building exercises, and company retreats. The two conference rooms can be set up to tailor to specific needs with different setups for boardroom, theater, banquet, U-Shape, classroom, fishbone, and cabaret. The property provides a team for site visits and transportation arrangements. The lodge offers tree planting, reversing the carbon footprints of travels. Guests can visit Organic Gardens where they can handpick their favourite vegetables and herbs for chefs to use in their meal.
