Sant'Angelo Resort consists of 21 historic dwellings, each with unique interior design blending original structures and modern furnishings. Rooms are spacious and integral to the landscape, offering views of Murgia Park. Guests can choose from elegantly-furnished 18th-century wings in a former courtly palazzo, cave houses, or the Sant'Angelo's grotto-church. Room options include Grottino, Grotte Patio, Palazziata Patio, Grotta Superior Patio, Grotta Superior Panoramica, and Gran Palazziata Panoramica. Some rooms feature a patio, terrace, or balcony with city views, air conditioning, a private entrance, a private bathroom with a shower and a bidet, a mini-bar, and tea and coffee facilities.

Dining

Regiacorte is the onsite restaurant with views of the Sassi di Matera. The hotel provides tube-pasta with pungent nettle and anchovy pesto, or smoky salt-cod with sweet Piquillo pepper and Jerusalem artichoke. Breakfast includes cakes, tarts, homemade jams, sweet and savory pastries, and Lucanian cheeses and cured meats. Più Sud, an awarded pizzeria, is in the heart of the Sassi di Matera.
