i stayed here recently and i was blown away. the breakfast included hot, tasty full english breakfast with toast and juice. john and sammy are kind, cute hosts. also, they even catered for vegetarians without a problem. it was great!
The room wasn't perfectly clean. The carpet seemed like it wasnt hoovered, but that didnt really affect my stay. heating only came on late at night, so it was a little cold. Luckily, it was spring. that needs to be better!

dusty kettlehydraulic door closer
The carpet needed a good vacuum. I also noticed dust on top of the kettle (a minor detail, I suppose). The hydraulic door closer was a pain. It took forever to shut and then slammed loudly. Breakfast was supposed to include cereal, but it never arrived, a letdown (especially since I was looking forward to it).

John gave a super friendly greeting at check-in and explained how things worked. the building was clean and well cared for in the corridors. i found the room biscuits delicious. They were a nice touch. the location is convenient, close to a tram stop, so getting to beaches and the central pier was easy.

The staff were very friendly and polite I felt right at home. The breakfast choice was good I ordered the day before.
The room was a bit tired the wallpaper was peeling off. The shower room could do with an upgrade there were more guests than tables.
