charming stay

boutique rooms comfortable beds tea facilities fresh breakfast
I was impressed by the beautifully decorated boutique rooms. The guesthouse sits above a traditional english pub, it had independent retailers and coffee shops on the street. beds were comfortable. the hotel provided tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I found the location quiet for its setting. i enjoyed the fresh continental breakfast. It was a great start to my day.
The hotel needed to offer some plant based butter. It is not hard to keep a tub in the fridge for dairy free guests.

i stayed in a room right above the pub. The noise DID go on until about 1am. It would be better if it was quieter.

noisy stay, but staff are nice

pub noise lack of options
room 6 was pretty, but the noise was a problem. pub sounds went on until 1am. staff started moving furniture really loudly at 5.30am. they should think about soundproofing. also, they didn't have plant-based butter, its such a easy thing to stock with dairy issues.
