Greeting upon arrival included sparkling wine and permission to use facilities like gym showers and the rooftop restaurant. my room was on the 18th floor and had a side view from the executive room balcony. i also enjoyed the blue note restaurant with its live band showcasing stevie wonder music. It was just a short walk away. the front desk service was excellent.
there was no free water in the room, a slight inconvenience. the kettle had to be plugged into the bathroom. the patio door was nearly impossible to open.

a pleasant stay near the beach

my room on the ninth floor included a balcony facing the beach. i had ample space for luggage, which i appreciated. the bed offered good comfort and the shower had strong pressure. i found sitting on the balcony to watch the bay views very peaceful.
this happened mostly during breakfast hours. it has to be said, there are twenty floors.
