Pollera is located in Old Town, a short walk from various architectural monuments. It is located halfway between the Main Railway Station and the Market Square. The hotel is one minute from Florianska Street, a main commercial district, and a five-minute walk to Galeria Krakowska. The Cloth Hall from the 13th century and Market Square are each a one-minute walk. Wawel Cathedral is a ten-minute walk, and Kazimierz, the Jewish district, is a twenty-minute walk. From the Main Station, head towards the Old Town, turn into Szpitalna Street at the Słowacki Theatre, and walk for five minutes. The hotel is accessible from Basztowa Street, heading for Słowacki Theatre, then along Szpitalna Street. Guests can park briefly in front of the building to drop off luggage and check in.

Historical building
The building's history dates back to 1834, when Kasper Poller established the 'Pod Złotą Kotwicą' Inn. In 1844, Poller expanded the business and personally managed it until his death, after which his son Adolf and his wife Wanda took over. The complex was renovated during the Art Nouveau period. After Polish liberation, the hotel briefly served as the Red Army headquarters.
