Great Hospitality Awaits

large roomnice touchgenerous portionsgood standard
The room decor included nice touches. it was a large room. The bath offered a great way to soothe my tired muscles, perfect after a long walk. I enjoyed the haggis with my full Scottish breakfast, a particularly nice touch. The portions for the evening meal were generous and of a good standard.
The tea and coffee tray in the room required the kettle to sit on the floor to reach an outlet.
Facilities

The hotel provides comfortable accommodations. Breakfast has a wide range of hot choices. The bar features an extensive range of whiskies, beer, and gin. It is clearly well-supported by the locals. I found it to be very friendly.

Wonderful stay!

warm welcomecharming decorspacious bathroompoor ingredients
The village had a warm welcome, and locals greeted us as we arrived. Our room had simple, rustic decor, quite charming. The bathroom included a spacious area and a view of the mountains behind the building. The pub had a great atmosphere, and it was fun.
The experience in the dining area could be improved. It seems ingredients are not of high quality. I would not choose to eat here again based on this experience.
Rooms

The double room offered comfortable space. It also included nice, clean spaces, and the temperature could be adjusted easily using the electric heater, resulting in a very comfortable night's sleep.

Parking was available right outside the front of the premises. I felt comfortable having a cider alone in the bar after arrival. The hotel location is excellent for walking, also providing great scenery.
Dining

Breakfast included black pudding, haggis, and eggs cooked to order. Staff happily set an extra plate at breakfast. The breakfast was very filling, with good choices, including creamy porridge.
Service

The staff was friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. They prepared my room and had it ready, even though i arrived early. Stanley, the dog was very sweet i enjoyed it.
