Mixed Feelings About My Stay

unstable shower headcreaky floors
The shower head would not remain in a fixed position. The small window overlooked what looked to be a smoking area. I found the floors to be quite creaky. A quiz took place in the pub and it continued until 10:30 pm. I could hear it from my room directly above.

Decent Stay with Some Drawbacks

good quality carveryfriendly staffsmooth servicedusty rafterunsanitary pillowgrubby chaise
The carvery offered very good quality food. It tasted great, so it was well worth the visit for that. Staff members were friendly, even when more customers arrived. Everything went smoothly, despite the unexpected influx.
The room needed dusting and a vacuum, especially the rafters. Pillows felt old and lacked filling. They also seemed unsanitary to me. The chaise looked old and grubby. I did not find it comfortable at all.
