“I found this hotel's location particularly appealing, especially for quick trips from Paddington or visits to Regent's University. The decor leans towards a distinctive vintage style, something of a welcome departure from more generic hotels. For those who appreciate character over contemporary minimalism, it certainly has a unique atmosphere.”

Quirky and Convenient Stay

friendly staffconvenient locationquirky interior designinconvenient bathroom
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic. It was easy to reach from Paddington. The interior design was also notably quirky. It gave the place a unique feel. I also appreciated that someone was available at reception around the clock.
The bathroom wasn't actually within the room. I needed to walk down the corridor to access the toilet and shower, quite inconvenient.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel offers 24-hour reception. I found this reassuring, especially arriving late. The absence of a lift might be challenging for some guests with mobility issues. There's no on-site breakfast, but nearby options compensate well.
Location
9/10
Located close to Paddington, the hotel provided good access to transport links. Hyde Park is also within reasonable walking distance. It offered a good option for leisure. The surrounding area is quiet and felt safe.
Dining
8/10
Though breakfast isn't available at the hotel, nearby cafes offer ample alternatives. Several restaurants are easily accessible. They range from quick bites to more formal dining experiences. Room service is not available though.

the interior had a lovely design, it reminded me of a stately home (it was really charming). paintings and antiques were on display throughout the hotel. i stayed in a 'single room' and it was great. it was the best budget hotel i've ever stayed in.
the room i booked was very small and the bathroom was tiny (i could barely move in it). the bathroom was also old, the shower head holder was broken. the lighting was bad in both the room and the bathroom.
