I found the staff very helpful. They communicated well from reservation to checkout i appreciated the terrace room that overlooked the hutongs the room itself was quiet and in a convenient location i especially liked the black tea provided in the room it became a favorite.
the water pressure in the shower was quite low.

a charming stay in the heart of it all

special locationwarm greetingwhimsy touchamazing restaurant
the location was special, near so many interesting spots. the staff greeted me warmly, i must admit. i loved the hotel cats, they added a touch of whimsy to the experience. the on-site restaurants were amazing, i tried many pastries.
my room was a bit dim, only slightly problematic for reading in the evening, that's all. the breakfast had very hard boiled eggs.

The staff spoke excellent english and offered helpful recommendations for local attractions, i must say. they arranged tickets and provided thorough information about train station logistics and tours. Nothing was too much trouble for them. the team seemed like friends, always ready to assist and ensure an lovely trip.

the room was cute and had all necessary amenities, i must admit. it provided a comfortable space, even if storage was a little limited. the cleanliness was great and the great showers after a day of exploring are to be noted.

Breakfast offered both western and cantonese options, and the food tasted delicious. the mediterranean kitchen provided excellent meals. I really did enjoy the restaurant toast. the in-house bakery offered a bit of everything, and the pastries tasted amazing!

mixed experience, some issues noted

attentive staffmismatched photosno windows
the staff was very attentive.
the room i booked did not match the photos shown online. it was not soundproof, i received earplugs. the 'garden view' i paid for was not provided, there were no windows at all.
