The Old Pheasant in Glaston is charming, offering guests a delightful experience with its inviting atmosphere and character. Many appreciate the restaurant's delicious meals, particularly the Sunday roast, pizza, and curry, though it's worth booking in advance. The breakfast is another highlight, featuring a continental buffet with fresh fruits, croissants, and a coffee machine, with a full English option on weekends; however, some guests have noted that rooms near the road might experience some noise. Guests also enjoy the convenient parking, good road connections, and the cozy, modern interior design, making it a great value for exploring Rutland Water and the surrounding area.

generally positive experience

friendly staff nice room fresh egg faulty door broken light meagre hanger
i found the staff quite friendly. the room was nice with all needed facilities. a good selection of food was available, including fresh boiled eggs and croissants.
the bathroom door in the room would not close. one light in the bathroom was not working. only two wooden hangers were provided in the room, which seemed meagre.

adequate stay.

friendly staff tidy room easy parking shabby bathroom poor wi-fi long life milk
The staff were friendly, i must say! the room was tidy, i was happy. continental breakfast was provided each morning. That was great! there was easy parking, very convenient.
i found quite a bit not to like, honestly. the bathroom felt a bit shabby. free wi-fi, but the signal was poor in my room, yikes. i asked for additional milk for my room, but they told me no more long life milk available.

dusty surfaces worn dresser
the evening meal met expectations. it was of acceptable quality.
the room was not as clean as i expect. there was dust on the surfaces and cobwebs in the corners. the finish on the dresser looked quite worn and needs some maintenance.
