average stay near the station. some issues present
urine smell nonfunctional air conditioning
The room smelled strongly of urine when i arrived. it was quite unpleasant, and the scent lingered throughout my stay. also, the air conditioning did not work. The room was uncomfortably warm and stuffy and i reported this to the staff, but nothing was done about it.

Excellent Stay Near the Station
clean room comfortable bed separate toilet
The location is excellent being so close to the train station. My room was large and very clean with a comfortable bed. I appreciated the quiet air conditioned room plus having a separate toilet and shower room. It was helpful with everyone needing to get ready.
One minor issue I experienced was the slow WiFi. It occasionally made working remotely a bit difficult. I needed a stable connection for video calls, so it was noticeable.

Breakfast offered both continental and hot cooked options and was reasonably priced. I found a lot of variety and good quality items that suited my needs. The reception area also included a very nice bar.

The hotel is conveniently located right across from the Eurostar station. A large shopping centre is also just across the road. All main tourist sights are within a comfortable walking distance.
Facilities

My room included a coffee machine and tea making facilities along with complimentary toiletries. I found that staff members were very helpful and friendly. The hotel provided a pleasant stay.

minimal cooling highway noise
the air conditioning provided minimal cooling in the room. i opened the window, but this resulted in considerable noise from the nearby highway. these factors made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the room also lacked sufficient sound insulation.

surprisingly great stay!
ample space separate toilet quiet room
The room offered ample space, perfect. i appreciated the separate toilet and shower room. It proved useful. i also liked the quiet, air-conditioned room, it really helped with restful sleep.
The front door had some cigarette butts and rubbish around. It wasn't a great first impression.

i found a nearby carrefour in the westfield euralille shopping centre, it offered a better breakfast at a lower cost. the hotel breakfast seemed a bit expensive at 19 euros per person for a continental selection.
Service
10/10
The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite accommodating. they were particularly responsive when i requested a cot. i was impressed with how smoothly they handled luggage storage. It was very convenient.

decent location, but some issues
great location train station broken air conditioning uncomfortably warm
The location was great, especially its proximity to the train station. It made travel very convenient.
The air conditioning in my suite wasn't working correctly. It, and i was disappointed with the lack of a proper fix.
