Great hotel near the lake

The included lake activities were nice. The rooms were appointed well. Staff is friendly and helpful, a positive. The bathroom was luxurious with a deep tub. There was a gas fire in the bedroom. It makes the room atmospheric and warm.

I did not like that the cancellation period had expired. I could not obtain a refund because I broke my foot. This was disappointing as I wanted them to waive the fee.

The hotel features two restaurants. The restaurants serve food and a café exists. The café is for those in a hurry. The Den serves delicious food. It makes the experience better overall.

The room design was modern and spacious.

Drinks ordered at the bar never arrived I found this disappointing. The management seemed unconcerned when my party had to leave early due to a medical emergency. They offered no credit or discount despite our early departure.

i loved our suite. it included its own staircase to the upper bedroom. a comfortable balcony was perfect for an evening drink. the suite overlooked the lake!

the internet connection was totally unusable. the hotel was not able to resolve it! at the same time our cell phone reception wasn't good either, so i ended up totally disconnected.

inconvenient minibarlimited shuttle

I found the minibar policy rather inconvenient. The absence of readily available snacks or drinks in the room was a letdown (especially after a long day). furthermore, the limited hours of the shuttle service presented a challenge, as it did not align with some of my planned activities beyond the immediate vicinity. relying on taxis became necessary at times, an expense i had not fully anticipated.

The hotel location is excellent. It allows easy access to the lake and surrounding bike trails, and the hotel provided free canoes. Staff showed interest in my stay and gave helpful suggestions for activities. I found the free shuttle service to the village helpful, it. I appreciated the on-site sauna after a day outdoors.

The cancellation policy, while standard, caused concern when I needed to cancel due to an injury. No flexibility was possible.

The room was very big and included a Dyson hair dryer and a fireplace. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, it featured a nice shower, there were fluffy towels, it gave a spa-like experience.

The on-site restaurant offered a tasting menu I found very worthy of trying. The Fix Café provided amazing coffee and a broad range of food choices. The lounge created a nice hangout spot after skiing or after dinner.
