“I found the atmosphere genuinely welcoming, partly thanks to the resident collie, Winston, who seems to hold court in the old-fashioned bar. Breakfast stood out, featuring good-quality ingredients that gave a strong start to the day. It's the kind of place where the staff seem happy to help, adding to the charm of a stay right on the town square.”

The Neuadd Arms Hotel, situated in the center of Llanwrtyd Wells, also known as the smallest town in Britain, is appreciated for its very good value for money and convenient location opposite a shop which stays open late. Guests often highlight the comfortable furniture in the bar area and the brewery on the premises, where they can sample home-brewed beer. The hotel is dog-friendly and popular among walkers, with walking routes easily accessible; the train station is only a 10-minute walk away.
