Suites at Mystic River
Mystic River Resort features studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites overlooking the Macal River. The Cloud9 Suites include a private plunge pool and outdoor shower. All rooms include a patio, free Internet, and either one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, or two twin beds based on the room type. Some rooms have a balcony and sitting area. There is no air conditioning or television. Ceiling fans and fireplaces are provided.
Dining at La Ranita
The onsite restaurant, La Ranita, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features Belizean dishes and Thai-inspired cuisine, with ingredients sourced from the organic garden. The bar opens at 6 AM and closes when the last guest retires. Special dietary needs can be accommodated.
Activities On-Site
Mystic River Resort provides a yoga deck with mats, straps, and blocks. Complimentary activities include birding, tubing, canoeing, and hiking. Guests can also visit the river and use inner tubes, swim, or paddle board. The Jasmine Spa offers treatments. A snorkeling tour to Belize's oldest marine reserve, located off Ambergris Caye's southern tip, can be arranged. Approximately 45 minutes hike will be needed.

Mystic River Resort is located in the jungle, seven miles from San Ignacio and Santa Elena. Caracol, featuring the tallest structure Caana, is nearby. The Macal River runs through the property. Xunantunich and Cahal Pech are accessible with a guided trip, including lunch at a local Belizean restaurant. The resort can arrange transportation from Belize International Airport, a two-hour drive. Tropic Air provides flights to San Ignacio on select days, a 40-minute drive from the resort. The border to Guatemala is approximately 7.25 miles.
