Riverfront & Garden Cabanas

All Riverfront Cabanas feature an expansive deck with a view of the Privassion Creek. The cabanas are themed with native art and local textiles, and offer a queen-sized bed and hand-painted tiled bathroom. Skirting Privassion Creek, these 1600 sq ft villas feature an open-air living room with a small kitchen. Off the living room are two bedrooms, each with its own full bath. The Garden View Cabañas showcase native arts and antiques, feature a queen-size bed and a screened-in porch with hammock. Ironing facilities, Tea and coffee facilities, Terrace, Trouser press, Patio, and Garden furniture are included. Free toiletries are provided.

Guatemalan and Italian Cuisine

The poolside restaurant specializes in Guatemalan cooking, drawing on Mexican, Caribbean, and Maya traditions. Menu features traditional Italian dishes with Coppola family recipes, from Basilicata, Italy. Local favorites include Salpicon, Jocon, and Rellenitos. The main, candle-lit Montagna Restaurant serves Italian cuisine including dishes such as Mrs. Scorsese's chicken and pizzas from a wood-fired oven.

Natural Swimming and Hiking

Smooth granite boulders, sandy beaches, and waterfalls of Privassion Creek provide some of the Reserve's best natural Belize swimming holes. Orchid Heaven Trek offers orchid hunting with approximately 150 orchid species in a 10-mile radius of Blancaneaux Lodge. Guests can explore the ancient civilization of the Maya. A perfect short getaway for kids to see butterflies and learn about their life cycle at different stages. First light is an ideal time to observe colorful birds under a rainforest canopy. SEA Belize Annual donations are made by Turtle Inn to SEA Belize.

Location and Nearby Attractions

Blancaneaux Lodge is located in the northwest corner of the 107,000-acre Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve in western Belize's Cayo District, 35 km from San Ignacio Cayo. Big Rock Waterfalls and Big Rock Falls are 2 km away. The granite bedrock and red soils of the Mountain Pine Ridge meet the limestone and moist tropical broadleaf forests of the 264,000-acre Chiquibul National Park and the Caracol Archaeological Reserve.

Spa and Villa Services

The Waterfall Spa offers treatments, wraps, and massages, as well as access to a hot pool overlooking cascading waterfalls. Belize spa features staff trained at the Sacred Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok. Treatments use local products such as coffee and coconut. The Francis Ford Coppola Villa has a full-time attendant. Wi-Fi Internet access is available.
