wooden furniture lovely bathroom missing bar ramadan arrival

the wooden furniture had a nice look, it gave the hotel character. the bathroom, it was lovely, i found it rather charming.

i noticed no bar on the hotel. i also realized i was arriving during ramadan. that was unexpected.

Wonderful Stay Near the Sea

The staff, they was cheerful. I saw beach views during breakfast. I also watched sunset views from my room. The hotel's location is central. It is so close to the ferry station.

The pool had rubbish around it for many hours. There was no service at the pool. This was a bit frustrating.

Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Shortcomings

The breakfast service was slow and disorganized. Often, I had to ask multiple times for coffee, and some items listed on the menu were unavailable. The room overlooked a noisy street (even though I requested a quiet room), disturbing sleep. Soundproofing appears to be lacking. I clearly heard conversations from adjacent rooms and hallway traffic.

A solid experience

The breakfast buffet presented a wide array of options. Fresh fruit and omelets were highlights. The hotel building features an attractive design with complementary furniture. It created an excellent atmosphere.

The floor was dirty, and it left stains on feet. The bedding also had stains. I found plastic pillowcases. I had to ask for cotton ones. It was strange that cotton pillowcases were not standard.

My room was spacious and clean. i liked the traditional swahili furniture. it was both comfortable and beautiful. the sparkling pool offered welcome relaxation. i appreciated the attentive staff. They helped with arranging excursions and taxis.

the street noise was noticeable in my room, even with the windows closed.
