Wonderful Stay in Historic Setting

The hotel staff members were very nice and helpful. They promptly addressed my requests. The building is a beautifully maintained heritage hotel (I really appreciated the architecture). The location is central. It made accessing local shops easy. I also found the pool quite amazing.

The hotel's parking is quite limited, which could be an issue if you have a vehicle.

the decor included original furniture. the pool was located in a lovely courtyard. i discovered a two level roof terrace overlooking the sea. i wish i found this gem sooner .

amazing historical hotel!

The original features and furniture gave it an authentic feel. The double room was very spacious! the staff were SUPER friendly and helpful, they were very good. the location is great. Everything is within walking distance, which i loved!

The internet didn't work in the room. This was a bit frustrating since i needed to check emails. it only worked well in the lobby area downstairs! hopefully, they can improve the wifi signal throughout the entire hotel soon.

The hotel has a pool available ! there is also a roof deck that overlooks the city, providing amazing views, i used it to relax. breakfast options included local fruits and treats. It was delicious

My double room had great windows and plenty of warm water with great water pressure. That's a plus. the rooms were very very comfy and tidy! the hotel has been renovated and the furnishings fit the architecture and setting.

The front desk workers are wonderful! they helped me with ground transportation and provided information about local tours. the staff switched up breakfast items daily. Masala chai and iced coffees were available, i appreciate them

Wonderful Hotel in Stone Town!

The historical style of the building and the pool were AMAZING!!! I really enjoyed swimming. Breakfast included tasty local foods, which I appreciated. My room offered a wonderful sea view and a nice balcony. I would certainly stay here again. The rooftop terrace is also very nice.

My Double Room was spacious and tidy. The hotel has unique and fine architecture. The front desk workers are wonderful.

i appreciated the hotel's central location in stone town, everything felt accessible. my room had a nice balcony, it was convenient. the bed was big, that was definitely good.

The hotel was surrounded by a dusty area. the antique collection. i found the exchange rate a bit odd. There seemed to be a built-in mark-up.

the breakfast service disappointed me. some food items was stale. the fruit selection lacked variety. also, the room's air conditioning struggled to maintain a consistent temperature, especially during the afternoon. i needed to request maintenance address this issue.
