You can also customize soba noodles by adding tempura. The restaurant features a wide variety of dishes, from classic accompaniments such as grilled salmon, pickled dried plums and small fish, to Kyoto classics including tofu skin seasoned with starchy sauce, pickled yuzu daikon, and new Kyoto dishes.
Leisure: Garden Bath
The hotel has a Japanese-style bath with garden views, exclusively available to hotel guests. The public bath is decorated with trees that change with the seasons, different types of lanterns, and other lights that illuminate the Gion Festival by night. Services: Additional Information
The hotel provides information and recommendations, including places you can explore casually, leisure spots for families, and essential information on dining out. A traditional-looking store offering a variety of original beauty products blends in well with the retro atmosphere of Kayuu Koji Street, where it is located. Woodblock prints depicting parade floats in the Gion Festival and selected from the Edo Period will further support the theme. This market is home to approximately 130 shops selling items that feature in traditional Kyoto cuisine, such as yuba, pickles, confectionery, and seasonal ingredients.
“This hotel struck me as a solid choice in Kyoto, particularly for those who value location and local flavor. Just a short walk from Shijo Station, it balances modern comfort with touches of traditional design. I appreciate the focus on customizable dining, along with the Japanese-style baths that reflect the seasons.”
