the front desk staffs attitude were unique and very helpful. juan, oscar, and ana are amazing i think they should be rewarded. the views from the top floors look fine. bus number one stops right in front of the hotel, a really good thing.
the hotel gym is small. some equipment requires maintenance. it wasn't too bad.

the location of the hotel was very convenient for exploring. i liked that it was near the marina. the breakfast buffet offered a good selection (especially i liked the variety of options). the staff arranged a taxi for my departure, and it arrived promptly.
i found the mattresses and pillows to be quite stiff. this made it difficult to get comfortable. the soundproofing wasn't great, so i could hear guests upstairs talking and showering late at night. there was no water boiler for tea or coffee in the room, though i had seen them in pictures beforehand.
