The staff was friendly, especially the lovely lady at check-in. I greatly appreciated her assistance with parking. The hotel had a great bar and a pleasant outdoor area. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast. It was cooked to order and so yummy!!!
My room was near a noisy door. I could hear it banging late into the night. This definitely affected my sleep.

the bathroom suite looked dated and needs updating. there was a crack visible in the sink of the bathroom. i noticed dust and hairs in the corners of the bathroom floor.

i found the staff friendly. parking was simple, right at the front of the building. walking the winding staircase was a little tiring after a day of walking, but manageable. the restaurant food was lovely and very hot, just as i like it.
the bar lounge was closed on a sunday. i still enjoyed the stay, though.
