a lovely river stay!

hotel conversionfriendly stylelarge bednight parking
the conversion of the hotel from mercure to sunday group shows significant improvements to the overall management and friendly style of the hospitality business. i came back to the hotel with river view and it was very kind, sweet and lovely. beds are large and functional and great for sleep, pillows too.
my main problem was being charged for two nights parking, i made it clear on arrival on friday evening that i would be taking the car with me during the day and returning at night. the receptionist charged me for two night even though he must have know of the issue of no spaces in the hotel car park. i had to drop off my colleague who has heart health issues and then find parking nearby.

It felt so sweet and special. the large bed was functional for sleep, and the pillows felt just the same. the garden and bar were pretty functional, with excellent culinary standards.
i was charged for two nights of parking even though i told the receptionist i would use the car during the day. i had to find parking elsewhere after dropping off my colleague, who has heart issues. the nearby trains were really noisy and kept me from sleeping early.
