Better Rooms, located on the city side, provide king beds and bathrooms with a bath and shower. Great Rooms have king beds, sea views of Brighton beach and Palace Pier, and freestanding bathtubs. Marvellous Rooms include king beds, sea views, freestanding bathtubs, and wet room showers. The Best Room features a super king bed, sea views, a brass telescope, and a bathroom with shower.

Drakes is home to Dilsk, a fine dining restaurant focused on sustainable food sourced from ethical growers and local producers in East Sussex. The Cocktail Bar offers sea views and drinks throughout the day. The Bar at Drakes offers a relaxed setting. Bespoke cocktails, premium spirits, and wines are served from the black granite bar. Lauden Chocolates with fillings inspired by English and Asian ingredients are available. Breakfast is served in the restaurant or in guest rooms from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.

Located on Marine Parade overlooking Brighton Pier, Drakes is 1.5 km from Brighton and 45 km from London Gatwick Airport. It's five minutes from the Royal Pavilion, Brighton Pier, Sea Lanes swimming, Soho House, and the War Memorial. Brighton & Hove buses stop at station-board numbers 12, 14, and 27, which all pass Drakes. Four car parking spaces are available on the forecourt.
