the location proved convenient enough.
I found the room smelled quite musty upon entering, off-putting. there was only one accessible electrical outlet, and it was across the room. This meant the kettle was plugged into a multi-socket adapter. (not ideal for charging devices). the toilet was a major issue. It wobbled and felt unstable because the floor seemed uneven.

The bathroom was very cold, made showering unpleasant. I noticed the bathroom also lacked hooks for hanging towels or clothes. There was not enough tea, coffee, milk, and sugar provided. The supplies lasted only one day. The hotel should provide more supplies each day.

i found the location convenient near the station. the pub downstairs had a good restaurant and i liked that. the staff was friendly and helpful, even with my late arrival.
the room lacked a bedside light, made reading in bed difficult.

the hotel has close parking and a spacious room. a comfy sofa was available in the roomwith a nice area to relax after a long day of travel. a television was also provided.

check in was super friendly and helpful. the receptionist lady resolved a couple of issues i had. she also gave helpful advice about local places to eat near the hotel.

the hotel is near the train station, made getting around easy. there are places nearby for food. yarm is a short distance, it offers even more dining options.

a lovely bar downstairs houses a restaurant. food in the pub was amazing and very tasty. prices at the pub are very good, i enjoyed the steak and ale pie.
