i arrived soaking wet way before check-in, but i received a warm welcome. i was allowed access to a very large family suite with massive radiators. this allowed me to dry all my gear, super helpful. the lunch and dinner were lovely too!!!
the room was very basic, needing a refurbishment, especially the small en-suite. it required an upgrade although it was clean. the price did not totally reflect the condition.

The staff was very helpful. They took away all our wet gear for drying and brought it out again the next morning in good time. Meal arrangements were well organised. The evening meal was excellent.
The room decor was tired, though carpets and curtains looked new. The bathroom was unpleasant, with pipes everywhere and a leaking shower. The bathroom was in need of a tidy up and decorating.
