The location was acceptable, close to the action but far enough to be quiet at night.
The staff's english was not good, made communication difficult. i also found that some ammenities weren't working properly. i was frustrated by a number of issues.

The hotel provided bikes. i could easily explore the surrounding countryside (it was quite an adventure). the breakfast offered a great mix of eastern and western cuisine. i especially liked the bespoke vegetarian spring rolls. The chef really showed attention to detail.
The gym was quite small. it only had two treadmills. the lighting in the room was a bit dim (especially in the evening). this made reading somewhat difficult. the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear street noise at times.

The hotel location is great. It is a short walk to the shopping, restaurant, and bar areas. The free shuttle bus to the beach WAS a bonus. The staff were super attentive.
The room did not have enough outlets. I needed to charge multiple devices, and it was inconvenient. I also noticed some street noise at night. It made it a little difficult to fall ASLEEP.
