The Lion Hotel offers 45 bedrooms with double, king size, twin, executive, and family suites. Each unique in size and elevation, the rooms include a desk space, TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi. Single rooms feature one standard single bed and full en-suite facilities. Twin rooms include standard double or twin beds and en-suite bathrooms. Executive Double rooms are refurbished and feature Hypnos Double Beds and air conditioning, with an in-room fridge and ironing facilities. Superior Double rooms are larger, also feature Hypnos Double Beds, air conditioning and rainfall showers.

Dining at the Hotel

The award-winning Restaurant 114 Bar & Grill serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features traditional homemade cooking, with snacks from jacket potatoes to gammon steak and homemade pie, and vegetarian and vegan options. Room service is available upon request. Bar 114 is a traditional English pub with low beamed ceilings.

Leisure and Events

The Lion Hotel is a venue for meetings and events, offering the Ostlers function suite for banqueting up to 140 or theatre seating for up to 180. The Portland Suite features a private bar, dance floor, and oak beams, available as a complete suite or two separate rooms (Portland 1 & Portland 2) with direct access to the terrace. It features AV equipment and air conditioning. Guests also have complimentary use of a nearby fitness facility. A farmers' market with local produce is on every 2nd Friday of the month.
